Jesus tells us to go and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
the Son and the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe
all that he commands.

Weekly Worship
|
| |
Crossway
Community Church is a spiritually vibrant
church. We hold weekly worship services on
Sunday mornings at 9:30am. You can expect a
blend of traditional hymns and contemporary
songs (with teenaged musicians), biblical
teaching and preaching, and communion is offered
at each service. Most people wear casual attire
to our services, so jeans, shorts and t-shirts
are welcome. We have a number of families with
young children, and we believe it is important
to worship as families. It gets a little noisy
at times, but Jesus liked having kids around and
so do we!

Serving the
Community |
| |
Outreach is
part of the DNA of this church. What happens
“outside” the church building is as important as
our gathering together on Sundays. We view
worship as a daily event, taking the love of
Jesus Christ out into the world. Crossway
Community Church regularly participates in
community projects like: community cleanup days,
prayer walks, street fairs, parades, and pig
roasts. We also offer women’s bible studies on
Thursday nights at 6:30pm.
A men’s bible study is held on Thursdays at
7:00pm. These bible studies are open to all who
are interested. Teen pizza night is held on
Thursdays at 5:30 pm in Kirk Hall Please contact
the church if you need any additional
information.

Team Based
Ministry |
| |
Crossway
Community Church is a team based ministry. Four
elders and a number of other leaders support the
pastor by directly leading areas of ministry
like Sunday school, bible studies, and local
missions. This church has been blessed with all
the spiritual gifts necessary for us to be a
healthy and impactful church, and we encourage
all to serve in their areas of spiritual
giftedness.
None of us are perfect, nor do we try to act
like we are. We each have struggles and burdens
in our life, that we can’t solve on out own.
Realistically, there are problems (spiritually,
emotionally and physically) that only Jesus
Christ can heal. You’ll find that we are
authentic in our relationships with each other
and with Christ. This church is a “safe place”
to share your burdens and prayerfully ask for
God’s help.

Spiritual
Formation |
| |
Spiritual
formation is defined as the journey toward
growth in relationship with Jesus Christ. The
church, after all, is a gathering place for the
“spiritual community” of Christ. When the church
views itself like this, it naturally becomes a
safe place for people to belong.
As pastor, my desire is to provide the full
gospel story of Jesus Christ. This includes
sermons and ministries that are not always
popular in today’s society. Jesus tells us to
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your strength
and with all your mind”; and, “Love your
neighbor as yourself”. A great way to love God
is to understand His guidance (the Bible) and
how it can apply in today’s environment. As we
gain this understanding, we can apply it by
loving our neighbors (whoever they are) in a
biblical context.
We live in broken and hurting communities. There
are many people and religions that offer
solutions and “spiritual” answers. Jesus teaches
us that He is the only path to God the Father.
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through
me.” (John 14:6, NIV). I encourage you to build
your spiritual foundation in Jesus Christ and
His authority. He is unchanging and everlasting!
